Of Intelligentsia to Puppeteers

The recent declarations of actor Guillermo Willy Toledo, happened in an act in the Fine arts circle referring to, unfortunately, imprisoned deceased, and at the moment I abstain from qualifying the quality of the prisoner as for which he is a common criminal or of conscience, Cuban Orlando Zapata Tamayo in a certain sense, they reveal again ours, and I include myself of course, tendency to subjetivizar the role that there have the intellectuals, workpeople of the culture or as let's want to call actors, writers, painters, musicians, etc. In effect, when his positions coincide with our own ones or with mine, they are marvelous, healthy and necessary, so that nobody put in judgment cloth the role of Willy Toledo during the hunger strike of the Saharan activist Aminetou Haidar. Now the things change and when his opinions, which certainly coincide with mine, go to cross-current that those of certain left bienpensante with vocation of staying, like the hymen of Maria de Belén, immaculate in spite of the surrounding reality, they stop having importance, up to the point that my bosom friend, Antonio Flórez, from his Rubicon wonders, with all the right of the world, which is the role of the actors in questions like this one. But I do not believe that it is to discover the philosopher's stone deducing that so legitimate interrogation, is provoked by the fact that Willy sails in direction opposite to Antonio's analysis as for Cuba. And all this even though these opinions, cradles in in analyses opposite to mine, are so legal as be able to be mine.
Often, some dissident voices of inside Cuba, that they are, and whose more well-known exponent can that he is Yoanni, the bloguera of the generation Y, they complain about the fact of having to be an example species for the world, of what it must be the anti-imperialistic resistance. They argue, and it is not an empty analysis, that they want to be either a symbol of anything nor example for anybody. Perhaps they are right. What if it seems clear, it seems to me, is that for this left, somewhat roussoniana, convinced in the intrinsic kindness of the humanity, Cuba yes must be a paradigm, it must show all the qualities that they suppose, I do not suppose such a thing, it must have a socialistic society. And in so ideal society, the delinquents' existence is a strange element. Yes there are those who break the laws it is because this state does not fulfill his aspirations, in the fund, here is the core of the question, it is a question of a defeat of the system, in this case of a defeat of the Cuban Revolution, all the prisoners are, in the fund, conscience prisoners. If also it is still possible to exhibit a certificate of better International Amnesty. And the argument, which consists, is not new, not exclusively of Cuba. The Prisoners' Coordinating committee in Struggle (COPEL), in the transition, when it was demanding: Prisoners to the street, common also!, it was using the same argument. And that I remember from the political left, absolutely nobody supported this claim. Only the anarcho-syndical trade union CNT-AIT gave a real support.
This frustration that it produces the fact that a perfect society does not shape the Cuban state, is the one that does that from the left, this left that I can respect at the time that I have to show my discrepancy, condemns with steadfastness Cuba for questions for which he does not condemn to others. It is the left that usually quotes with profusion Gramsci but that demonstrates not to have read him, at least as for process of education of the masses, process that for the founder of the PCI was far from the methods of Maria Montessori. I imagine the Bolshevik Revolution distributing caramels, not even the French Revolution.
