A way of doing politics

This last weekend in the Hotel Convention of Madrid there have been celebrated days promoted by the federal secretariat of economy of IU, in which humbly I collaborate, and organized by the Foundation for the Europe of the Citizens (FEC), in which I have had opportunity to take control like speaker in the Workshop of 3: Priority economic sectors in the new productive model, defending, to say that it was a question of a paper had been somewhat pretentious for my part that the agriculture should be one of these priority sectors. Not that to say has that the information that I handled, is the same that, partly, I help to prepare myself in my nutritional occupation of the National Institute of Statistics., and more exactly, in the field of Agrarian Statistics.
The results, the conclusions, the syntheses, when it has been possible to synthesize, will be announced properly by the official IU means, and it is not of that thing about what I want to treat.
The title of the entry is A way of doing politics and it is for something. Frequently, and I the first one, we complain about the excessive interiorización of our organization, of which we tense ourselves, of that we put our capacities to the maximum, when of what it is a question it is of hegemonizar our organization, of making our positions majority inside IU, nevertheless, we lower the strip of wood, relax the activity when it is a question of preparing active politics with which we must appear before the segments and social classes before those that we aspire to represent, and sometimes we are lazy at the time of taking this politics that so much it is difficult to us to prepare to the daily political action. These days, and especially the climate of work that has existed in them, have circulated in the opposite direction, and I congratulate myself of it.
First of all it is necessary to emphasize that there have no been, not very much less, a few internal IU days, there has been a nourished participation of movements of any nature, coincidental all of them in which it is necessary to construct a new productive model, serve like example Ecologists' Yayo Herrero in Action, Lourdes Lucía of ATTAC or Begoña San Jose of the Forum of Feminist Politics, along with university teachers like Fernando Luengo, and there are not missing representatives of the world of the work as Jordi Ribó, responsible for Social Economy of the Confederal Executive of CC.OO. And secondly, this wide plurality, plurality in the left undoubtedly, could have debated without obstacles of any type.
This route of debate and analysis with the set of the social left, at least with the social left that he wants to debate and analyze is a way, to my judgment, correctly, but it is only the beginning, we have to study in depth him, to make it daily. We have to demonstrate that it is a useful route to be constructing an alternative that it attracts on the one hand to these sectors, to my judgment deeply sectarizados, that, to today, are sure that the revolutionary masses are mature and only they need a sign to be thrown to the capture of the power, and on the other hand to those who, increasingly, are taking conscience of which the classic parties of the social democracy, in Spain and out of her, their names be Spanish socialist party, SPD or Labour Party, they are incapable, not already of doing a revolution, in which they never believed, but not at least of practising politics of Keynesian cut that in some moment helped to create the mirage of the capitalism refriend, of the welfare state still at the cost of deepening, in international key, the differences between rich and poor.
It is not the moment to throw the bells to the flight, we are beginning going along along a route that for the long time we have blocked up to move in the internal struggle, a struggle that is positive if it is dialectical and ideological and bad if only it refers to names, positions and charges. I would like that it was significant, and perhaps it is simply relating to the moment, that Inés Sabanés was opening the days and them Lara was closing Key, or that in the press conference who reported on them there were Adolfo Barrena, José Antonio García Rubio, Key Lara and Gaspar Llamazares.
But care, let's not call to trick, and it was a debate that was caused in some of the workshops: What are we proposing to the society? Reforming or revolutionary measurements? Are we attacking that itself that for years we have criticized to the traditional social democracy? Are we contributing to the stability of the capitalism, improving it instead of contributing to his overcoming or, said clearer, his destruction? This debate cannot be solved in two kicks, unless we resort to an untenable topics accumulation. For the communists, if we return to somewhat traditional concepts, program that today must try to construct Izquierda Unida, a transition program is, that is to say a program essentially reforming that allows to advance the maximum thing in the way towards the socialism sitting the bases for a radical structural change, which maximum political declaration would be III Republic and the Federal State. To come to this moment, always continuing with the most classic Marxist terminology, it will be necessary that the subjective conditions, that is to say the realization of the hard-working class and his Allied Forces, it has evolved positively so that, then yes, we would be in conditions to tackle revolutionary measurements tending to the capture of the power on the part of the working class. And this process is culaquier thing, less easy, now the important thing is that we have started to habler of politics, let's hope that it should last.
